About Us
If you are interested in what makes our nation what it is today, if you love to hear and tell tales of everyday heroes and if the mention of the word "Spitfire" makes your heart beat just that little bit faster, then you will probably understand just some of the reasons why we do what we do.
212 Squadron has been made up of many enthusiastic volunteers alongside both serving and retired RAF personnel over a number of years. We aim to keep the history of the RAF's role in WW2, and in particular the 'Battle of Britain', alive and relevant. We do that with the use of exciting and fun living history displays in which we give adults and children the chance to be immersed in the period, having face to face contact with the sounds, sights and artefacts of the battle.
We have as a group attended a huge number of Airshows and Events in the UK and are always open to considering new ones to add to our calendar. Individual members or small groups may also be available for visits to memorials and displays for clubs and institutions.
